Hi Jaeson,

I am a friend of Benson Lee and Yvonne Tao. You do not know me, but I feel impressed to share with you what is going on at UCSD.

I received what I believe to be a rhema word today from the Holy Spirit. I listened to a word you spoke in 2003 regarding church planting in the emerging generation.

I’m sure Yvonne has mentioned to you before that there have been Friday night prayer meetings that go til 2-3 in the morning, crying out to God- asking for this generation, for our Jerusalem (UCSD). Within the past month, the Holy Spirit has been pouring out His Spirit, more than we’ve ever experienced before, in these meetings as we continue to meet in the summer. There has been a prophetic releasing in this group as many are getting baptized in the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit has been directing us to the book of Acts all within the past month (through numerous ppl and churches in the area), and it wasn’t until last Sun that I ‘happened’ to come across a book on House Churches by Peter Wagner. I believe He is building His church at UCSD, and I haven’t got a clue how- all I know is to obey what He tells us to do.

I keep getting the word, Great Awakening. As if that sleeping giant in this generation that you mentioned in your sermon was truly awakening.

I guess I just felt stirred in my spirit to let you know whats going on in SD. There have been prophetic words spoken in SD about ’something happening in the colleges.’

I also feel strongly that what is going on across the colleges in CA is for the entire west coast. All the way from Seattle to San Diego.
