(and you know how Lauren and I really love the freshmen and have always felt pulled to them) well, we get back to texas and find out that there are 3
freshmen girls heading up a group praying for 24-7 prayer. And from what I
can tell, Jaeson, these girls are firery! Lauren and I have already gotten
in touch with them and are going to hang out with them when we get back to
cs. Lauren and I have been praying for these girls without knowing it, and
now God’s showing us! Pray for Lauren and I bc we’re hoping to have

UCLA IS SHAKING!!!

24-7 Prayer at UCLA Shifts the Spiritual Atmosphere!

Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.
Hosea 6:3

A few months back UCLA established a day of 24-7prayer for campus revival. Ever since this happened, nothing has been the same. The Holy Spirit has been pouring out His Spirit on this campus like no other. At the same time, our ministry ( www.campustransformation.com, www.campuschurch.net) has tracked over 80+ 24-7prayer rooms on different major universities all across the nation since the month of January. Something is stirring, the power of God is falling and the Holy Spirit is preparing a generation for a last great awakening that will shake the nations and finish the Great Commission in our generation. We recognize without prayer nothing is possible, with prayer all things can be done. Prayer is the fuel behind our evangelism. The below is a report of what the Holy Spirit has been doing in great grace and great power at the UCLA campus. We are not just satisfied with good prayer rooms we want to see the power of God encounter a generation & we are seeing it happen right before our eyes here in Los Angeles once again. Yes, one hundred years after the Azusa Street Revival in LA an expectancy of God’s visitation upon Los Angeles is pregnant in the hearts of many once again. Yes, 50 years since the beginning of the greatest student spiritual revolution started on the UCLA campus by Bill Bright of Campus Crusade for Christ we are at the threshold of another great student revival awakening. Do not relent, press in with prayer, fasting and a bold Gospel witness. The below is my own story of the powerful things God has been doing through a small band of students in our house church network who are united with other like minded Christ followers at the UCLA campus.

Completely Satisfied yet Utterly Dissatisfied

When I came to you brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power. 1 Corinthians 2:1-5

What has been happening at UCLA the last 10 days is unprecedented. The spirit of God is stirring and we are experiencing a new outbreak of revival like we have never seen. In the last week we have witnessed scores of salvations in the middle of campus, divine healings and the power of God break in. This is just the beginning of something great. Please let me give a preface to what has been happening.

I thought I was losing my mind the last week. I had become so dissatisfied with the state of American Christianity and the lack of power in the preached Gospel. Why do we preach the Gospel and yet there is no response? Why do we see the power of God operating in the book of Acts but we don’t see the power of God operating today? Where is the power & presence of God in my generation? I had lost it…

I couldn’t do my regular ministry duties. I could no longer just settle for Church meetings, Bible studies and casual prayer meetings. I wanted something more. There had to be more. I kept reading 1 Corinthians 2 and Acts 4. Paul never preached with human wisdom, human knowledge, he preached with the power of God. Yet, today all we have is human knowledge from our pulpits, but no Holy Spirit power. A Chinese house church leader once visited some major mega-churches in Los Angeles California and when asked, “What do you think? He responded with, ‘It’s amazing what your American Churches can do without the Holy Spirit.” Lord I pray for mercy on Your luke warm Church here in the United States. Last week I read Acts 4 over and over again.

Now, Lord consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy Servant Jesus. After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. All the believers were in one heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. Acts 4:29-33

The apostles preached the resurrection of the Lord Jesus with great power. I am desperate to see that great power at work in my generation. If not, I don’t know what to live on for. I did not sign up for a program, an organization or a religious institution. I found Christ at the age of 17 & was radically changed. He transformed me, encountered me, saved me from going to jail and I have never looked back. But here I am again, desperate as the day I met Him. God where is your power in my generation?

I became so desperate last week. I simply prayed a prayer of Jeremiah 6:16

“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.”

I lost it. I dropped everything and went back to the place of prayer. For days on end I just sought God’s presence in the morning and through the night. I found rest for my soul. I found His presence and He had become everything once again. The only way I could describe how it felt and how I feel at this moment is this, “completely satisfied and utterly dissatisfied.”

I am completely satisfied in His presence, but I am utterly dissatisfied with the state of Christianity in my generation. Oh God, oh God, oh God…if you don’t do something, I don’t know what else to do? Where are the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in this generation? 40,000 students at UCLA and the majority do not know this glorious presence I know. Millions in my generation are leaving the Church because they have encountered a dead religion instead of encountering the manifest presence of God. I am distraught and God you must do something. I only live for one thing, to see your name lifted High, to see revival come, to experience heaven on earth, if not, take me home. Revival or death! I don’t mean to sound extreme, but this is how I feel.

This last week at UCLA I sensed a stirring and experienced a Holy Spirit power I have not seen in a long while. God is here, He is moving and hell is shaking. This is just the beginning. I feel like we have struck water. The well of revival is stirring, but we have to keep pressing in. May God do what He did with Bill Bright 50 years ago on this campus once again! Start a spiritual revolution among students on campuses all across the United States of America, but this time even greater.

The 7 foot Cross on Campus

I thought I was hearing things. But through a series of confirmations I sensed the Holy Spirit tell me to bring a 7 foot Cross into the middle of Bruin Walk and preach. A sister in our house church on campus had found this 7 foot Cross and borrowed it for our 24-7 UCLA prayer room. When I saw it, something in me stirred. I knew it was meant to be carried and preached with. I asked her if she could ask the owners to let us use it for outdoor preaching on campus. She asked the owners and they gave it to us graciously. This 7 foot Cross had been sitting in my room for over 2 months. I did not feel led to carry it on campus just yet. But this last week I was compelled to bring it out on Thursday April 13. I had told no one that God had purposed in my heart to take out this 7 foot cross to campus. But the night before Thursday a student leader asked me if I would go with them to worship and preach on campus Friday because it was “Good Friday.” When I heard this brother tell me it was Good Friday, I thought to myself, “If there is anytime to bring out a 7 foot Cross on campus it would be Easter.” I was encouraged, yet scared. What would people think? I would be labeled a freak, a fool and fundamentalist. I didn’t care. I just had to take the chance to be obedient.

Thursday morning I get out to campus. The night before I had emailed out our house church to pray for me because I would be at Bruin Walk from 12-2pm to pray and seek the Lord direction. As I began to walk down Bruin Walk holding this large cross, students everywhere started looking at me with funny looks. Some laughed, others jeered, but I kept on walking.

I got into the middle of campus and with few of our student leaders we began to worship on the Bruin Walk steps. It was difficult to worship, it was hard to stay focused. The spiritual warfare was felt, but we did our best to keep worshipping and praying. A few of us got up to preach, but there was no effect. Students walked right by us. Others laughed as they saw us holding this large cross & preaching.

After about two and a half hours of no response I became disillusioned. I thought to myself, why does this Cross have no power? Why do I not see the book of Acts happen the way Paul and the early apostles did? Is it just because we are in a different generation and we are to resort to seeker sensitive, relational evangelism? I’m all for personal evangelism, but no, no, no, no, there has got to be more than this! I had lost it…

At about 3:30pm I was just standing still on the Bruin Walk grass hill with this large cross on my shoulder. I then made my way down to the Bruin Walkway where all the organizations were tabling. I began to walk up and down the walkway singing to myself my favorite Lifehouse song. “You are all I want, You are all I need, You are everything, everything!” Over and over again, I sang to myself for about a good half hour. I wasn’t singing to get attention, I was singing to God. I had lost my sense of reality. I didn’t know anymore what was real and what was not real. I just knew God had to be God and He had to do something.

All of a sudden I began to talk about God out loud. I began to share about the Cross. I shared about the power of the Cross and that it is not just a piece of wood. It is not just a religious symbol or something you hang around your neck for coolness sake. No, it is the power of God unto salvation! I preached passionately for a half hour to no one. I just preached to the air because I was so frustrated that the cross in the eyes of UCLA was just another religious ornament. Then something of heaven broke open.

People began to listen. Maybe 60-80 students started gathering to listen. One girl was sitting on the steps by herself. I preached to her. She was listening intently as I explained the power of the Cross. She began to understand that the Cross came with a price. It cost the Son of God His very life and blood. Others started gathering to listen. A fraternity member I had been praying for was gripped by the message. He almost converted on the spot when I challenged him, he said he wanted to, but still needed time to seek more. I prayed for him. Next thing you know, the UCLA TV station is filming the whole scene and asking to interview me. After preaching an hour or so, a crowd of a hundred had gathered. The presence of God was thick and the Bruin walkway was silent once again, like it was earlier in the year when we preached outdoors. I didn’t feel the need to challenge them to respond, I just needed to share my heart on how I felt about the Cross. Many did respond though, including a Muslim student, a whole Pilipino dance group and Latin sorority. When I had told the crowd I was done preaching, I walked down the Bruin Walk and the whole crowd began to clap for me. I thought it was interesting, I didn’t know what to make of it. I just knew I had to share the message of the Cross. I had to get out my frustration to let UCLA know this Cross has power and it cost blood. It cost the blood of God’s Son. Later, the UCLA TV station interviewed me asking me what made my message different than those other street preachers who condemn others to hell. I simply shared that I had no strategy, but simply was compelled to the love of God in my heart for all to hear. I preached the Gospel when they interviewed me and who knows how many students watched it and got saved. Whatever the case, in my spirit, I knew something had shifted. The heavens were opened over Bruin Walk in a different way. This leads me to the next part of the story where the real miracles begin…

Divine Healing & Prophetic Evangelism breaks out @ UCLA

“For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of is power.” 1 Corinthians 1:17

“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

“But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is convicted by all. And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you.” 1 Corinthians 14:24-25

The Gospel was meant to be preached with power, not with persuasive words. This last week God broke out in divine healing and prophetic power in the middle of UCLA. What happened was like it came straight out of the book of Acts. This is only the beginning….

Monday - Asian Fraternity encounters the power of God

On Monday I was compelled again to bring out a 7 foot wooden Cross to the middle of the UCLA campus. I didn’t feel like brining it. But when does your flesh ever feel like brining out a 7 foot Cross to preach with? When I got to the middle of Bruin Walk students everywhere were staring, laughing and giving me weird looks. I didn’t care. I was at a place in my Christianity that if I didn’t see God show up in power like He did in the book of Acts I wasn’t willing to go on. I met up with a few of our house church student leaders and some of them began to preach. There was not much response from the onlookers. Once again, I became disgruntled in my spirit so I took the Cross and began to walk around Bruin Walk praying silently to myself. For over an hour I stood in the middle of Bruin Walk, holding the cross and staring at the hundreds of student organizations tabling. I felt Jesus heart of compassion for them, for they were like lost sheep without a shepherd.

One student organization tabling in particular was one of the largest Asian Fraternities. I had been praying for the salvation of this fraternity for over a few months. As I stood there praying for them I felt the Holy Spirit say to me, “Today I give you this fraternity!” I thought to myself, could this be? I began to envision myself preaching the Gospel in front of their table and seeing members call out to God for their salvation. Then it happened…

As I was standing their praying to myself in the middle of Bruin Walk I began to pray out loud. Pretty soon, my out loud prayer, turned into preached words and then into a rap. I had never done this before but I began to rap out loud the Gospel message. It sounded like slam poetry, but the message of the Gospel was communicated clearly through each rhyme and sentence. Students around the Bruin Walk began to stop and listen. In a moment it looked like a crowd of 100 had gathered to listen. Next thing, I found myself in front of this Asian fraternity table and preaching the Gospel directly to them. There were maybe a dozen or more frat members and they were all listening to me preach for at least one hour and a half. I shared about the meaning of passion and the suffering Jesus went through to save our souls. I explained the Cross is not just a religious symbol, but the power of God unto salvation. I shared my life story and called the entire crowd to Lordship in Christ and repentance towards God. By then, Bruin Walk had been dead silent for over one hour listening to me preach the Gospel. As I gave the challenge to commit to Christ, students everywhere began to raise their hands to give their lives to Jesus. It must have been at least a dozen and half committing their lives to Christ. More importantly, many of the members of the Asian fraternity raised their hands to give their lives to Jesus just as I saw beforehand in my spirit. It was a holy moment. They prayed out loud with me and when they had done so, I shouted for joy! I explained angels were here and in heaven rejoicing at their decision. No one wanted to leave, so I continued to preach the kingdom.

In my heart I felt led to teach them how to pray. I was amazed, all around the hundred over students continued to listen to me teach in the middle of Bruin Walk. I then went on to teach about the power of the Holy Spirit, the gift of tongues, the power to cast out demons and to heal the sick. It was at this point a divine out break of miracles happened…

Therefore let him who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret. For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding 1 Corinthians 14:13-15

As I preached about the power of the Holy Spirit I felt inspired to speak a message in tongues. I began to speak out loud a divine message in tongues from my spirit. I asked God to give me the interpretation once the tongue was released. I spoke with my understanding and the interpretation spoke of God’s hand being sovereign over creation, His power to do all things and the need to forgive others. At this point, many all around the Bruin Walk were coming under the power of God and were beginning to tear up. I knew at this moment the Holy Spirit wanted me to pray for the brothers in this large Asian fraternity. Looking at them, I asked them if I could pray for them, they all nodded. I walked up and stretched out my hands to pray a prayer of blessing over each.

Once I began to pray, immediately I received a word of knowledge about one of the fraternity members there having a mother who was sick and needed prayer. I asked, which one of you has a mother who is sick in this fraternity? There were maybe a little more than a dozen frat brothers there and one raised his hand. He told me his name, his mothers name and then I said, “The sickness is cancer isn’t it?” He said, yes! The moment this word of knowledge went forth the entire crowd was astonished. One fraternity member who was not a Christian began to break down crying uncontrollably. I looked at all of them and told them to immediately pray and believe his mother would be miraculously healed.

I began to explain that it was God who knows all, is sovereign over all, and has the power to heal. They were all bewildered. Then I looked to my left and saw one of the frat brothers who listened intently the whole time sitting on the table with crutches. I knew in my spirit God wanted to heal him. I asked him, “Why do you have crutches?” He said, “I think I broke my foot yesterday playing basketball, I can’t walk or move my foot at all and it hurts like hell!” I told him, “Jesus has the power to heal the sick and I’m going to lay my hands on your foot right now and you will be healed.” The moment I laid my hands on his broken foot I felt the power of the Holy Spirit shoot through my hands. I knew God had healed his foot. I told him to immediately take of his crutches, stand on his two feet and walk. He looked at me like, “Are you for real?” I told him, “Yes, get up right now and walk in Jesus name!” He got off the table without his crutches and was at first hesitant to take a step, but I encouraged him to step out in faith. As he took his first step I asked him what is happening? I said, “The pain in your foot is leaving isn’t it?” In shock he responded, “The pain is leaving!” I said, “Keep on walking and the pain will completely go away!” A miracle happened. He began to walk all around the Bruin Walk in front of over a hundred onlookers. The entire crowd was in awe. As he took each step, his eyes began to well up with tears. He kept saying, “The pain is leaving, it’s almost completely gone!” The power of God was healing him and it was a witness for all to see the miracle working power of Jesus.

And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. John 20:30-31

Many of the fraternity members were locked in, watching, amazed and in the presence of the Holy Spirit. The one frat brother who was crying uncontrollably began to explain to me, “Many people have shared the Gospel with me, but I could never believe in a God I couldn’t see, but when you told my friend that his mom had cancer, I knew that was impossible, because we don’t even know that!” Paul said, “That your faith would not rest in the wisdom of men, but the power of God.”

We owe this generation an encounter with the power of God. If we think it is only seeker sensitive evangelism strategies that will win the lost, then we are going to lose a generation. I am convinced God’s word is true, that if we preach the Gospel He will confirm it with signs, wonders and miracles.
What happened at UCLA Bruin Walk this Monday was proof. More than half a dozen of the fraternity members gave us their contact information & have committed to meeting regularly to learn obedience to Christ. We will now plant a house church among their community.

That same day, an Indian student was listening to me preach the Gospel the whole time at Bruin Walk. While I shared the need to repent, be baptized in water and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2), he immediately, rose his hands in the air and said baptize me! We took a large water bottle and immediately poured water over his head and baptized him in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He began to give praise to God and was a public testimony for all to see. It was a beautiful moment.

Many more God encounters happened on Monday, too many to count. The Holy Spirit has been pouring out His presence at UCLA like we have never seen. There is something in the air and it is the power of God. This generation is hungry for a real encounter with the Holy Spirit and not a dead religion or social program. We must contend for heaven to encounter earth. This can not just be talk it must be put in action. God’s power does not come without spiritual violence.

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force Matthew 11:12

If we want to see God’s power show up on our campuses there is a price to pay. We have to press in, pray, fast, do spiritual violence and soak in the presence of the Holy Spirit until we are so filled with Him, nothing but His presence and authority flows out of us. When that presence flows out of us, it manifests itself in a bold Gospel witness where we see the Cross preached with power, sicknesses healed, demons cast out and souls saved soundly. Now is not the time to hide in our prayer meetings. If we truly believe for God’s power and revival to show up when we pray, then we must step out in faith to see it happen. Faith without actions is dead. A revival prayer meeting on our campus that does not result in us taking the Gospel to the lost…is just a prayer meeting. We must be moved from prayer to action. By sustaining both, in the power of the Holy Spirit, we will see our campuses flipped upside down for the glory of God! I challenge every student who reads this to go out two by two on their campuses and preach the Gospel. Whether it been in the middle of campus, in a dorm, a classroom or anywhere, believe God to encounter the lost! Step out in faith, preach, prophesy, let the Holy Spirit lead you to pray for the sick and down trodden! Change your campus in the power of the Holy Spirit!

Oh God, would you raise up a generation of fools! Those who will be fools for the Gospel, those who would not so much care about their reputation, but would only care about advancing the kingdom of God in their generation. No matter what the cost! This is the hope we have, what are doing with it? Are we going to settle for just good church meetings, campus fellowship gatherings, social events, outreach activities week after week, school year after school year? I didn’t sign up for a Gospel without power. God is God and let Him be God. Stop putting God in a box with your theologies & believe Him to be the God of the Bible, the God of Acts, and the God of now! Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever and I refuse to believe anything less, but to see him walk the streets of our campuses in divine power.

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son my bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14:12-13

Jesus may you send revival to my generation. Send revival to the college campuses of America. Send revival to this nation and bring glory to your Father. This is just the beginning…God continues to move daily at UCLA there is more to come….

Tuesday Latin Fraternity encounters the spirit of prophecy

Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10

But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. 1 Corinthians 14:3

On Tuesday I went out once again with the 7 foot cross to the middle of the UCLA campus. As usual, I had no plan but to seek the face of the Lord. There were a few of us from Passion Church and students from other fellowships meeting at Bruin Walk to worship and pray. As we went out there one of our student leaders Sam began to preach in the middle of the square. He spoke with passion & there were some listening. After a time he felt led to walk up to students to speak with them. I followed suit. I didn’t sense the Holy Spirit telling me to outdoor preach that day, but waited on Him for guidance. As I walked down the Bruin Walk I saw one of the Asian fraternities passing out flyers for an event they were promoting. I told them I would help pass out flyers for them and they laughed, but I really did it.

It was fun, but also strategic. I began to announce the hip hop event they had going on with jokes and humor. The surrounding organizations were laughing with me. One of them was a Latin fraternity. They are the largest Latino fraternity on campus. I asked them if they wanted to attend the event and struck up conversation with them.

I began to ask them if they went to church, some did, most were of Catholic origin. For some reason one student begins to open up to me. He tells me that his best friend had been killed in Mexico over the weekend after I shared with him about God’s love. I began to share with him comforting scriptures from Psalm 23 & 91. I asked if I could pray for him and as I did, the Holy Spirit gave me a few words of knowledge to comfort him. He showed me, “his best friend was a child hood friend who grew up on the same block with him, both their parents were very close, he and his best friend played a lot of sports together and that his friend’s death was quick and not painful.” As I spoke these words of knowledge over him he began to cry, he affirmed that each was true, and at that moment we both knew God was present. The funeral was the next day and I know Holy Spirit used that moment to give him comfort for the trial. He was so thankful. As his other frat brothers witnessed this we were able to get their contact information and get a few of them to start a Bible study to learn more about Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit.

That was Tuesday, more of God’s power to come on Wednesday…

Wednesday Christians at UCLA unite to worship in the public square!

“And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” 41Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. 46So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:40-47

On Wednesday we tasted a bit of Acts 2:46 so continuing daily with one accord in the temple. Christian students from different campus fellowships and local churches gathered together in the middle of the Bruin Plaza to worship God together in unity. From 12 noon to 2pm student leaders from different Christian groups gathered to worship, intercede, and declare God’s glory over UCLA. It was a humble yet powerful beginning. All together maybe 50 students had come together, but it was a powerful bunch. As they gathered on a grassy hill next to the Bruin Walk steps you could sense the unity & very presence of God. The praise went up and it could be heard above all the other student organization activities surrounding the Bruin walkway.

Some students began to exhort the Christian’s there through Scripture. They shared and declared God’s Word while explaining the purpose and power of worship. They shared how blessed we were to have the freedom to worship in public and declare God’s fame without fear of persecution. I can’t explain to you in words what I felt at that moment. It was an Acts 2 moment where the Body of Christ had truly come together in unity, love, prayer and purpose. For when God’s people will love one another, the whole world will know we are His disciples. That is what happened…

The early church did not meet inside the four walls of a building as we do today. Instead, they met daily in the temple courts, which was a public space for religious activity. The temple court was full of different philosophies, religious practices and public speech of non-believers. Similarly, the courtyards of our nation’s universities can be likened to modern temple courts where bands of students share their philosophies, beliefs and practices daily in the public. It was in this kind of public place the entire early church would gather daily to worship, pray, break bread and give themselves to the apostle’s teachings. No wonder God added to their number daily! The early church had a citywide presence that was powerful & visible. The power of God was displayed daily in the public through the unity of the Church and the miracles of the believers. They had favor with all the people meaning those who were not of the faith. This means they must have been visibly in the public declaring their faith to the world. Those who were added to the Church daily were made healthy disciples from house to house in networks of simple house churches. It happened then it can and should happen now!

What happened at UCLA on Wednesday was to me a glimpse of the early church. As this band of 50 Christian students worshipped in unity thousands of UCLA students encountered the presence of God. Many walked by, many stopping to listen and some to watch. It was powerful. As we finished the time of public worship and declaration you could sense a wonder and awe in the atmosphere. I was walking down the Bruin Walk when an unbelieving student sitting on a table said, “Thank you for singing today, it was great!” I realized as I left the Bruin walkway we had Church in the public square of UCLA. It was more church than I had ever experienced in a long time. God was making Himself known and His glory famous to UCLA.

What would happen if daily hundreds or even thousands of Christ-followers worshipped God daily in the middle of our university campuses? Not to protest, not to promote, or to even evangelize. Rather, it was simply to worship God and do what the early Christians did: break bread, pray together, fellowship, devoted themselves to the apostles teaching, shared all things and showed compassion to the lost. This would transform our campuses and turn them upside down. The Church would be an unstoppable force of love in the eyes of the unbelievers. In the days to come, when the great revival hits the shores of our college campuses once again, you can be sure that daily outdoor worship, or may I say Church will be happening in the middle of our universities with hundreds and even thousands bringing glory to God daily! As souls are won, simple networks of house churches or missional communities will be established among every pocket of students on our universities and into our cities to disciple the great new harvest.

Thursday The Holy Spirit falls & fills students on Bruin Walk!

I was amazed when I witnessed the power of God encounter students on Bruin Walk again on Thursday. I really didn’t expect God to show up with the same level of intensity as He did the days before, but our God goes from glory to glory. On Thursday I had arrived to campus late and got to Bruin Walk around 1:15pm. I only had 45 minutes till my next meeting, but I still wanted to believe that God could do anything, even in a short time.

Some students from other fellowships had heard what happened the previous days so they joined us to pray and worship in the public. About 1:45pm I was carrying the 7 foot cross again and began to walk up and down the Bruin walkway where all the student organizations were tabling. I started praying to myself asking God to move in power. Again my prayers turned into preached words and a crowd began to gather and listen.

This time I sensed I was to teach on the Holy Spirit. I began to preach on the person, power and presence of the Holy Spirit. I was then led to share about an encounter I had with almost being killed in a gang fight & having the hand of God save me from death. I continued to preach on the Holy Spirit and its power to save and deliver. Finally, as many students were gathered around & listening I challenged them to commit to Christ. I couldn’t believe it, but again more than a dozen began to shout out the sinner’s prayer as I led them into repentance and faith in Christ.

I asked the crowd if anyone was sick and needed prayer, believing God would heal them. As some students shared their sicknesses (minor colds, coughs, headaches) prayers for divine healing went forth. An interesting thing then happened. There was a woman who walked up and asked us to pray for her digestive stomach problems. Recognizing this opportunity to glorify Jesus I asked the entire Bruin walk crowd to believe by faith for her healing and straight out their hands to pray for her. They did it. After we prayed for her she said she immediately felt her bloated stomach was shrinking and being healed!

At this point, I knew the crowd was hungry to understand the power of the Holy Spirit. I shared with them the only way to live a righteous life was not in our own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. I asked them if they wanted God’s power to live holy and many all over raised their hands. I then told them they would have to surrender their lives to God so they could be filled with the Holy Spirit. With that, I challenged them to pray for the infilling and baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues or any other spirit given manifestation. All over students began to pray with me out loud for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Once they prayed I began to ask Jesus to fill them with the power of the Holy Spirit all over the Bruin Walk.

Behind me there were two brothers from the Latin fraternity who had prayed out loud the prayer. I asked them if I could lay hands on them to pray and they said yes. As a few of our student leaders and I prayed for him to receive the Holy Spirit he closed his eyes and came under the power of God. He looked back up at me and told me that he felt like waves of energy were going through his body. Then he said he could feel his tongue moving and wanting to pray out loud. I knew he was being filled with God’s Spirit!

He then looked at me and said, “Hey pray for my friend!” So I turned to his friend and his friend prayed with me to receive the Holy Spirit. Again, he looked up and said he could a feel a warm presence over his body. I told him it was the presence of the Holy Spirit. I said how do you feel? he smiled and said, “Great!”

The same thing happened as I went to go pray for another Asian fraternity member who prayed the prayer also. We prayed on the Bruin Walk steps to receive the power of the Holy Spirit and he was touched deeply. Immediately, he decided to join the house church we had planted among their fraternity community. God is good!

More and more students all over Bruin walk that day committed to Christ were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and are now being grafted into the family of God.

What has happened in the past week is unprecedented at UCLA. We hear of reports of God moving in power through other Christ followers all over campus. In my spirit I believe there is an “open heaven” over Bruin Walk. Since the beginning of the school year we have been praying and asking God to breakthrough in power. We are now beginning to see the fruit of these prayers. Students are open to the Gospel and desiring for the presence of the Holy Spirit. This is just the beginning. These last few days have been but a tiny glimpse of what God wants to pour out continually, daily and extravagantly in our generation. God wants to encounter this generation in the power of the Holy Spirit. He is jealous for their hearts and so must we be equally as jealous. Let us seek God relentlessly and pursue this generation fearlessly. I believe with all my heart we are at the tipping point and the beginning outpourings of the greatest revival this nation has ever witnessed. Another spiritual revolution is stirring. May we ask God to give us a passion for prayer, a passion for power in evangelism and a passion for planting simple churches to take in & multiply the harvest at this hour!

The Cost of Suffering for Revival

Revival does not come without suffering. Revival is warfare. It is a spiritual battle where the enemy will want to intimidate each one of you who contends for this vision. On the first Thursday when the Holy Spirit broke out at Bruin Walk there was a direct spiritual attack on my family back home. I will not get into details, but my mother was robbed and assaulted the same day the power of God broke out at UCLA. Interestingly, before I got out to the middle of campus on Thursday, I was reminded of my mother being spiritually and physically attacked in a similar way when God used me in Hong Kong and Taiwan two years ago to birth a revival among the youth. When I was reminded of this memory while walking to Bruin Walk, I stopped and prayed for my mother’s safety and protection. Hours later I get the news she was robbed in front of our new home, assaulted, but by the grace of God was not seriously hurt.

I am thankful to God my mother is okay. Yet, I am furious at the enemy for violating my family. My mother is strong and full of faith. She even prayed for the robber who assaulted her afterwards for his salvation. I ask each of you to keep my family, especially my mother in your daily prayers. She is the most precious person in my life. Please I ask you for your daily prayers and protection for my family. Thank you.

Do you understand the cost? There is a cost to revival. There is a price to pay and a real battle to be fought. But whatever the enemy throws at us, we will not give in or give up. We must press on towards the upward prize in Christ Jesus. We must not only start the race for revival, but finish the race for revival. In this world we may have troubles, trials and persecutions, but fear not Jesus Christ has overcome the world. Following Jesus is not a game, it is not a Sunday service ritual, it is a denying yourself, taking up your cross daily and following Him even unto death. You may pray and contend for revival and never see it happen, but maybe your children will. What are you contending for? Are you going after revival and God’s purposes for your sake or His? When things don’t go your way, when you face a little persecution, when your prayers don’t get answered or your hopes for revival get shot do you throw in the towel, or do you keep walking by faith? We must walk by faith and not by sight. This world’s got nothing on me. I don’t belong to it! I don’t want or desire anything in it. Give me revival or give me death. By God’s great mercy, may we be completely and utterly obedient to His will and His will alone, no matter what the cost. For He is worthy of our worship! Send revival to this generation Lord, start with me.

We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed– always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 2 Corinthians 4:8-12

When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:34-38

About 3 years ago I had gone through a journey of receiving a prophetic strategy the Holy Spirit would orchestrate in order to release revival upon this generation again. Very simply it was two things…

House of Prayer + Church Planting = Fulfill the Great Commandment & Great Commission in our generation

If I were to expound on this prophetic journey I think I would have to write a book. All I am saying is that the revelational strategy I received 3 years ago is now coming to pass on the college campuses. The below testimony from UC Berkeley is an example of 24-7prayer being established as a pre-cursor to the outpooring of God’s Spirit upon this generation. I believe in the coming years we are going to see campus houses of prayer raised up on ever major college campus and out of that movements of “simple churches” reaching every un-reached student group on our campuses will be birthed to reap in the Greatest Harvest mankind has ever witnessed. What is God doing right now? He is preparing for the final missionary army that is birthed out of God’s presence and sent in apostolic passion to bring back the King.

Why Campus Houses of Prayer? (CHOP) God is going to restore the Tabernacle of David before His final return and have for Himself a House of Prayer for all nations (Isaiah 56:7) God’s goal is heaven on earth. What are they doing in heaven? They are doing “harp and bowl” or “worship and intercession” night and day before the throne of God (Revelation 5:8) It is worship and prayer that brings God’s presence in its fullest manifestation. This is what we are contending for on our campuses. We must have a burning passion to see 24-7prayer & worship raised up in order to prepare our campuses to be a habitation of the Lord. Without enjoyable prayer, without steadfast inetercession and lives encountering God in worship we are “toast.” We won’t last. Good fellowship meetings, Bible studies, outreach events won’t send our hell-bent student bodies into the kingdom. No! The only thing that will empower God’s Church with all BOLDNESS is a Bride that is continually standing before the King, in His presence and removed completely of fear. We must “park the ark” of God’s presence on our universities. Whenever the ark was parked it brough “blessing” in other words it brought “REVIVAL.” This was true for Obed-Edom’s home when the ark was parked there it brought prosperity. It was true when it entered into the pagan courts of the false god “Dagon” and the ark was parked and the demonic idol of Dagon fell head first before the almighty presence of God. Yes, we must contend for the presence of God on our campuses and this only comes through continual, relentless, prayer/fasting and warfare worship! This is not just having a mediocre prayer meeting and singing good songs out in public or in a room. No, this is radical, desperate, heart seeking fervent prayer and worship!

UCLA: We’ve been contending in outdoor worship and intercession in the middle of the darkest stronghold on campus “Bruin Walk” weekly in the middle of campus declaring to the principalities their time is up, God is near, His kingdom has come.

Standford: We heard last year mobilized all campus fellowships for one week of 24-7prayer and they set up an actual room on campus where students took 1 hour shifts around the clock for a whole week asking God to send revival

Ohio State University: Our CCN Associate Allison Brooks has started the first proto-type 24-7prayer house across the street from the university (www.loveosu.com) It is an actual house rented by Christians cooperating from different campus ministries sending in worship and prayer teams around the clock for 2 hour shifts contending for a spiritual atmospheric change over OSU. Just last week Alison and her two friends have been empowered with boldness by being in the OSU CHOP & started outdoor preaching in the middle of OSU “big lawn” prophesying and ministering healing “day after day” with miracles following. You can check out her report on our campuschurch.net student testimony page.

UC Berkeley: This just came in last week a wild report of how God mobilized hundreds of students to hold a 48 hour campus house of prayer within 4 days supernaturally. The presence of God is now burning and more students are crying out for more as UCB once again I believe will be the center of revolution. But this time not a revolution of rebellion, but a revolution of reformation. Seekinng the kingdoms of men to become the kingdoms of our God!

University of Washington: Our CCN Associates there have reported a radical nightly prayer meeting that has gone on non-stop for 6 months every night in the middle of “Red Square” called “Shakina” where sometimes dozens and hundreds of students “give up homework/sleep” to pray from 9pm to sometimes 2am EVERY NIGHT, 7 days a week, for the past 6 months! The revival prayer movement there has hit the front page of the Seattle Newspapers and they are seeing not only students getting saved, but signs and wonders being released. Reports of “gold dust”+ “miraculous healings”+ “demonic deliverances” and the presence of God overcoming students with “supernatural laughter and joy!” Does this sound like something out the book of Acts? You may say it sounds “out there” well I’m determined to not put God in a box. When He shows up~ all human wisdom goes out the window. We becomes fools for Christ because we are full of the Holy Spirit. Did the pagans not accuse the 120 disciples of being drunk with wine at 9am in the morning? Lol…it’s time we got drunk in the Holy Spirit and no longer cared what the world thinks, but share with them the love of Christ!

(www.24-7prayer.com, check out our partners at 24-7prayerusa.com, it’s happening worldwide)

None of the above is happening because they are holding nice fellowship meetings- it is happening because students are going beyond the “program” and are going after the “presence”. I’m all for fellowship and social gatherings with brothers and sisters in Christ, but not at the expense of “revival.” I would rather pray and seek God’s face for 2 hours than attend another meeting that is more focused on socializing than going after God. I may sound harsh, but I can’t help the pain & frustration I feel in my spirit. The national average of Christians on a university campus is 4% and the majority of that 4% come from Christian backgrounds. We are not reaching barely anyone on our campuses, we are simply recruiting Christians. This is not ok. We are losing the battle, but not if we give ourselves to worship and intercession. Raise up the campus houses of prayer! Contend for heaven on earth! Mobilize others, but begin with yourself, fast like Daniel fasted and pray like Elijah prayed. We don’t have tomorrow we only have today!

I will share more later on the Campus House of Prayer & how it connects to Campus Church Planting Movements. All I can say right now is that without fulfilling the Great Commandment in warfare worship and dedicated intercession first, we will not be able to see an open heaven over our campuses and the great harvest released. The House of Prayer, the presence of God, is what energizes the most effective evangelism and church planting. Without the campus house of prayer going forth first, everything else will be done in the power of our flesh. This generation doesn’t need more persuasive wise words of men, they need to encounter the POWER OF GOD! It begins in establishing the groundwork in worship, fasting and prayer on a massive level.

House of Prayer + Church Planting….

How do these two work together? In the coming days I will be writing a few thoughts on our understanding of the word “church” and how God is now changing the “face of Church” right before our eyes in this generation. Get ready, a reformation is here and a revolution is upon us. The 2nd reformation is taking place and we will no longer be a “come to” church but a “go to” church. Meaning, we are going to stop going to church and start “being the church” bringing God’s kingdom to everyplace, everywhere at everytime on our campuses, in our cities and to the nations. Church is not a building, it is not a personality or a program. It is not just a slick powerpoint presentation and cool candles on the side, with a hip worship band and a seeker friendly sermon. Church is where 2 or 3 gather, where believers are coming together, forging together to be obedient to the commands of Jesus. God is raising up “campus missionaries” ones who will be “sent” with the same passion as the first apostles in order to go in and hit every fraternity, sorority, club, organization, dorm floor, apartment complex, sports team, social organization, every group of students that are un-reached with the transforming power of the Gospel by bringing church to them, planting church among them, doing church “simply” with them and empowering them to do the same until a holy movement of passionate pilgrims cover our cities and to the ends of the earth with God’s glory.

Get ready. Pray, fast, and prepare for the greatest harvest a generation has ever seen.

Megashift

April 22nd, 2006

Something is shifting. Something is changing dramatically in the spirit realm that is about to manifest itself fully in the physical realm. You wonder why I feel the heavy burden in my heart? It’s because a “reformation” is about to take place. It’s because everything I’ve heard, hoped and dreamed for is materializing. It’s the last great awakening that will hit the shores finally in North America, the same way the reformational fires of revival hit China in 1949 and birthed the modern day house church movement. Over 120 million Christians are estimated in China today from about 1 million in 1949. Most of these Chinese Christians are discipled in small house churches of 15-30 members. Millions in South America, Africa, India and the like have been swept into the kingdom in the last 50 years. They estimate from mission agency statistics 300 million Christians have been born again in the last 10 years alone. The greatest revival in history is taking place right now. Numerically greater than the day of Pentecost, the 1st and Second Great Awakenings, Welsh Revival, Azusa Street, the Jesus Movement combined is the revival we are experiencing today. Everywhere except North America that is. But not for long.

It’s why I started “campus church networks” even though people thought I was crazy. House churches on campus? What’s a house church? Simple Church? Organic Church? An Acts church? What is about to happen in the next season will shake the western church to its core. It is a divine invasion of God’s presence upon an entire generation to rise up to its destiny and fulfill the call of God at this hour. It’s the mobilization of all the saints for the work of the ministry. No more egos, no more buildings, no more agendas, no more programs, just Jesus. Kingdom outposts shining divine light in every sector and sphere of society. It’s church happening where life happens, 24/7, everyday, everywhere, with everybody. For me the focus is the university campuses. Equipping a new generation of student missionaries who will “be church” not “do church.” It’s about you and a couple of your friends catching the heart of Jesus and believing you can do everything that His Bible says you can do…. “Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” Matthew 28:18. We say that, market that, but do we believe we are to actually do it? Why don’t a few of your friends identify an “un-reached” group of students on your campus and do Matthew 28:18. Win them to Christ, turn them into disciples, baptize them in your apartment/dorm on campus and start a simple church there? Then why not envision these new disciples to plant another simple church among another unreached student group on campus & keep doing this until the whole campus is saturated with hundreds of campus churches? Why not? Jesus says you can? So why don’t you?

“And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2

It’s the “Day of the Saints” the mobilization of Joel’s Army~a nameless and faceless army. The Church is not an organization it is an organism. The Church is not suppose to be a monument, it is a movement. I know what I am saying may challenge you, but its challenging me as much as it is you. It’s time for change, its time we stopped playing pew sitters at church and started planting churches, started bringing the supernatural power and kingdom of God to everywhere we walk. 18 year old Chinese girls plant hundreds of simple house churches in China and we are still playing Christian (social)fellowship on campus? The national average of Christians on universities is 4% on each campus (Ivy Jungle Network). I think about 3.75% of those attending Christian fellowships come from Christian backgrounds in the first place, meaning, we are not getting the job done. Lets get missional. Lets live not in maintenance, but with purpose and compassion. Lets believe we can do everything Jesus says we can do. Lets do it.

My heart burns for change. I can’t play church, I can’t take it. I guess this is the way Martin Luther must have felt when he stapled the 99 thesis to the wall of the Roman Catholic Church and demanded CHANGE, a SEISMIC SHIFT, a REFORMATION. COME ON! “PUT THE POWER BACK IN THE HANDS OF THE PEOPLE…NOT THE POPE, NOT THE CLERGY, NOT THE PROFESSIONAL CHRISTIANS…GIVE THE POWER BACK TO THE LAY, THE PEOPLE, THE PRIESTHOOD.” There shouldn’t even be a term called “lay-christian” where is that in the Bible? We are a body not a hierarchy. Each part formed and fashioned to fulfill God’s purpose with the rest. Father, oh Father, please raise up true servant leaders, servant apostles, servant prophets, servant evangelists, servant pastors, servant teachers who will equip and empower the SAINTS for the work of the ministry, not the other way around.

I remember michael brown once preaching…

1. The Church is Not a Building
2. The Preacher is Not a Performer
3. The Congregation is Not a Audience
4. We are called to make disciples

They get this in China and revival is sweeping that nation. What about America? What about us? Do we think revival is our big buildings, our big programs, our big christian music festivals, bookstores, big crusades, big radio/tv programs, bigger better mentality? We have more extra Biblical Christian stuff and yet no revival. Is persecution the only answer? Maybe it is, but I don’t think it is totally. There is something terribly wrong and something has to change. My heart breaks, but at the same time I know “its here.” Let passion find its purpose. Let a revolution begin in my heart, in my home, in my campus, in my workplace, in my community, in my life. Thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Now.

The wave of change is here. Are you ready to jump on the wave or will you sit on the sideline and watch as a spectator? Young pioneers don’t be afraid. Don’t be scared to step out into the unknown. God’s already there. It’s here. Salvation is here. Kingdom is here. We just have to realize it, take hold of it and not let go. The kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force. I’m ready for a battle, I’m ready to pick a fight, I’m ready eventhough I know in the natural I’m not, but that’s how God does it. He calls the unable because He is able…He calls our hearts not our talents…Rise up friend. Rise up soldier. Rise up son of God, daughter of God, children of God. It’s our hour to shine and change history once and for all. It’s our destiny to bring back the King and fulfill the Great Commission in our lifetime. You will never plant a mega-church in China, or in the Isalmic, Buddhist, Hindu un-reached nations along the silk road back to Jersualem. It won’t work. But a simple church planting movement will. But before you do it there, you will have to know how to do it here, do it in North America, do it on your college campus, plant churches, simple churches, organic churches, acts churches, campus churches. What is church? “any amount of believers committed together to obey the commands of Jesus.” You were born to do it! Jesus commanded it. Blessed are those who are persecuted for my name. I’ve stepped out and I can’t turn back. Lord give me the humility, the strength and the grace to pioneer forward, even if no one “yet” understands. I don’t want to die without seeing revival in my generation. Bring a last great awakening to every campus, every city, every nation in order to finish the task. Do it Lord. Do it. I cry out to You do it. Here in North America, awaken us again, but fully this time. Start not only another student missionary movement, but call forth the day of the Lord generation! It is our destiny to finish the task of the Great Commission. Now or never, I say Now!

For campus revival,

Friday Fax 2005 Issue 28, 15 July

In this week’s Friday Fax:
Megashift

Megashift
That’s the title of American author Jim Rutz’s recently-published book. It’s hotly debated on TV, and one of Amazon’s top sellers. It has also caused controversy in broad swathes of self-contented US Christianity. ‘Megashift’ is a sharp-minded analysis of current Christianity around the world, and is partly based on dozens of carefully-researched Friday Fax reports. Rutz is now one of
the popular columnists in the conservative Internet news site World Net Daily (www.worldnetdaily.com).

What are his main observations?
- The 1700-year nightmare is over: the Constantinian Shift is shifting back. Under Emperor Constantine, the Church became an imperial audience, but is now finally freeing itself from the corset of state control.
- An unprecedented transfer of divine power is underway, from clerics into the hands of ordinary people. According to Rutz’ research in 49 nations, hundreds of people have been raised from the dead in the past 15 years.
- This is giving rise to an entirely new form of Christianity- with far greater repercussions than the Protestant Reformation.
- Over 1 billion non-Christians could become active Christians in the next 10 years.

When millions of ordinarly people do extraordinary things
The Charismatic Evangelical movement, currently numbering 707 million people around the world, is growing by 8 percent per year. That alone is exciting. The centre of this movement, though, is a mostly unknown and little-understood movement of 100 million Christians who have no building and neither pastor nor programme. “A church without vertical hierarchies,” says Rutz, “which will change the future.” They have experienced what Rutz calls a ‘lifestyle upgrade’:

Lifestyle upgrade
Anyone who uses computer software knows what an upgrade is: a new and better version of a programme replaces the old version. Through an act of God, many millions of people have experienced an ‘inner upgrade’ leading to an entirely new quality of life. Rutz lists a number of chances and advantages offered by
this upgrade, which were previously unthinkable for many people:
- People experience release from the limitations and burdens of a traditional, hierarchical (and unbiblical) religious system, being freed into an ‘open Christianity’ with 100% participation.
- They are no longer a number in someone else’s religious programme.
- They experience personal empowerment and are able to do things they previously could not even have dreamed of, including the supernatural (healing, prophesying, performing miracles etc.)
- They learn to overcome their own problems, and help others to overcome theirs.
- They experience fellowship with a small group of close friends who give mutual support, so that each person and the whole group reaches God’s aims, which are their calling.
- In doing so, they find that which they have sought for their whole life.

Away from spectator religion
The path away from spectator religion frees people from fixed church role-playing. Previously, many people were passive, conformist churchgoers, experiencing church as a television without a remote control. The personal involvement of every follower of Christ, though, rouses millions of talents and
abilities to solve even the most difficult problems. The result is a ‘Megashift’, a quantum leap in church history.

Post-Protestant revival
Protestantism was an important epoch in church history, but it is now time to stop protesting and start acting. The current post-Protestant awakening is larger than the great American revivals since 1727 under Wesley, Whitefield, the Herrnhuter or Johnathan Edwards. “This third Reformation,” says Rutz, “has three characteristics:”

The church is transforming itself from an organisation to an organism. After 1700 years of institutional structure, the Body of Christ is emerging in the form described in the New Testament. People are rediscovering the original forms and functions in an open, participatory system mostly consisting of house churches.

100% active
Moving away from the one-man church system, in which the pastor literally did everything, a growing number of Jesus’ followers are becoming active participants, leaving their spectators’ seats and taking their place on the playing field. It should be no surprise the number of goals scored increases.

When 100 people pray for the sick, prophesy, and plant churches instead of just one, it is also reasonable to expect the number of miracles to increase.

Immense numbers of new believers
Church growth outside America is breathtaking. Tens of thousands of new believers (Rutz speaks of 175,000 per day) means that although all religions are growing naturally, only Christianity is experiencing significant growth through conversion. Where religions meet, Christianity almost always gains new
believers, and new networks of house churches are formed.

How to be part of this Megashift
1. Stop going with the flow, and decide to actively turn away from the outdated control structures (clerics & laypeople).
2. Take responsibility. That also means paying the price of being a pionier, including Christian friends’ suspicion and ostracism.
3. Learn to love others, overcoming selfishness and becoming a team player. That requires a lifestyle of repentance and obedience-out of healthy enthusiasm, not duty.
4. Help carry others’ burdens, and not stagnate but take small steps forward every day.

Rutz says: “Is there a small voice inside saying ‘That’s right!’?” Follow it. But you also have the choice to ignore it. That too is freedom. But please don’t complain later…” Or, as C.Peter Wagner says, “Jim describes what God is going to do tomorrow. You can’t afford to miss this book!”

Prophetic Worship & Apostolic Preaching @ UCLA

God is asking us to press in at this hour to prayer war for “heaven on earth” to come to our university campuses. Do not relent, press in, the breakthrough is waiting to break out! This is dependent on the level of our spiritual hunger & violence. The kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force (Matthew 11).

This past Wednesday at UCLA we experienced a taste of heaven on earth, but it came with a cost. We got out onto campus and sensed the Lord was asking us to go into the middle of campus and lead out in prophetic outdoor worship & outdoor proclamation of the Gospel. As we walked up onto campus there were thousands of students walking up and down Bruin Walk. Normally, we would sit at the patch of grass where there were not many onlookers (free speech area), but on Wednesday the main steps at the top of Bruin Walk were open with no student organization tabling~ we took it by faith.

It was only eight of us (Matt, Caleb, Josh, Alyson, Jumpei, Neil, Sam). As we sat on the steps we began to pray. It was difficult to pray, the enemy immediately began to intimidate us with fear, self-consciousness, and I could tell many on our team were distracted. You could sense the spiritual darkness/forces right there in the middle of campus opposing our prayers, as hundreds of students were standing/tabling and hanging out around the Bruin Walk sidewalk. It was almost like we could hear the Devil say, “Come on, what are you going to do? Worship in the middle of campus? With your little guitars and make a fool out of yourself?” Don’t you know I own this campus?” (Greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world 1 John 4)

As we sat there and prayed it became more difficult. Yet, my heart began to break as I saw thousands of students walk pass us with no sense of hope or direction. On the outside these UCLA students all look like they got it together. They go to UCLA, they have the status, the image, the self-confidence, they look cool and they look like they got it together.” Then I hear the spirit of the Lord shout to my spirit, “STOP LOOKING WITH YOUR PHYSICAL EYES, LOOK WITH YOUR SPIRITUAL EYES, THEY ARE ALL LOST, DYING AND HEADED TOWARDS ETERNAL SEPARATION FROM GOD!” I had to remind myself, “The battle is not against flesh and blood the battle is against spiritual powers, principalities and darkness in the air, the God of this age has blinded their eyes so they can not see (Eph 6:10, 2 Corinth 4)!”

In the natural, 7 Asian nobodies with two guitars and a big white guy worshipping at the top of their lungs in the middle of the day in UCLA would seem like the most foolish strategy anyone could devise to advance God’s kingdom on earth. Yet, God chooses to use the foolish things of the earth to confound the wise. We began to worship, not for them, but for Him, with all our hearts. It was extremely difficult. Alyson all of a sudden got sick in the stomach and wanted to throw up. Caleb and Josh both started to feel out of it and were getting negative thoughts. I knew it was the enemies attack, “Guys, focus, pull it together, the enemy wants to make us think this is pointless, we might not look cool singing hallelujah songs, but this isn’t about being relevant or cool, this is a spiritual war, don’t look at the students laughing, don’t look at the physical circumstance, look at God, press in, worship God and He will come! Angels and Demons are here right here, right now, we need to press in and worship till heaven comes down to UCLA!”

Holy Spirit began to help us. We began to sing acappela “I love You Lord and I lift my voice, to worship You, Oh my soul rejoice, take joy my King in what You hear, let it be a sweet, sweet song in Your ear!” Over and over again, we began to not just sing, not just worship, but we began to PROPHETICALLY DECLARE to the spiritual powers and principalities at UCLA~ an authentic and genuine heartfelt cry of love to JESUS! We began to enthrone Jesus over UCLA looking to God, not to man. Onlookers begin to watch, it was like “time stopped” and the presence of God began to descend, it was felt. I knew in my spirit angels had descended, God was with us! We kept shouting it out as hundreds of students walked by and were looking at us with funny looks, some stopping and watching, others turning their heads back. The Holy Spirit, yes, the Holy Spirit comes to convict hearts with righteousness, sin and judgment! (John 16)

Sam from CCM fellowship began to lead us into worship (thank God for Sam if he wasn’t there we wouldn’t have made it) and we worshipped out-loud in the middle of Bruin Walk for 2 hours. We kept pressing in, we were contending for heaven on earth, we were contending for the power of God to be released, if His presence would not go before us, we had no hope. After 2 hours of worship warfare, we began to sense it was time to preach. The spiritual air had been cleared, the heavens were open, blinders were removed and the Bruin Walk area we stood upon was consecrated holy unto the Lord.

Caleb had to go to class so he got up and began to preach to the students walking by. He could only preach for a few minutes and then he said, “I’m passing the baton who’s taking it up next?”” This was my first time on campus at UCLA during school. I’ll tell you the truth I was intimidated, but I knew Holy Spirit was with us. He was anointing us for the task (to PREACH the Gospel & proclaim Good News Isaiah 61)!

Let me tell you something, “No matter how many times you have preached in public to masses of unbelievers you never get use to it, you never feel confident right away, apostolic preaching is not for the faint hearted, it’s not a Sunday sermon, its for those who dare to completely loose their own reputation and be completely and utterly dependent on God!” I wanted to pee in my pants, I looked at the hundreds of students walking up and down where we worshipping and I wanted to run & hide. But then I closed my eyes, I asked God for grace, again He showed me, “It’s not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit! Don’t look with your physical eyes, there is more with you than there is with them, open Your mouth and I will fill it with My Words to follow!” Without opening my eyes, I jumped into the middle of Bruin Walk and I began to preach at the top of my lungs….

My voice was almost gone, but as I preached you could sense the unction and anointing of the Holy Spirit and His power. Students walking by began to stop dead in their tracks! 5 here, 12 there, two tour groups stopped at the top of the college above us, an entire Asian fraternity sitting on the steps stopped talking and began to listen, an entire group of African Americans who just moments before had their boom boxes blasting stopped and began to listen, those tabling turned around, within moments there was a crowd of students standing, in wonder and looking, gripped by the Spirit all over Bruin Walk were listening to me preach the Gospel of repentance and love towards God! There had to been at least 120-150 students standing still listening for almost a half hour as I shared my testimony and proclaimed the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ! You could ask Josh, Alyson, Matt, the entire Bruin Walk moments before was full of noise, conversations, hustle/bustle but all of sudden the entire Bruin Walk was silent. God supernaturally amplified my broken voice with no microphone! People said they could hear the preaching from the 3rd story of the building above us.

What happened? To tell you the truth I don’t know exactly what happened, but glory be to the name of God! I called them to repentance and to commit in prayer to give their lives to Christ. At least half a dozen hands rose to the air and I asked the crowd to shout out the sinners prayer with me, we could hear students voices all over shouting out the sinners prayer in commitment all over Bruin Walk! It could have only been God!

The presence of God was present, so present that we didn’t even know what to do once done praying the prayer. One student began to question what was preached and started to begin a debate. I could tell it was a distraction of God and God helped us by having a smoking skater sitting on some steps defend me and debate with this Aethiest. Then the Holy Spirit led our team to go 2×2 to begin talking with the students who responded.

One student came from a Hindu background he said, “I’m jealous for what you have!” I want it but I don’t know how to get it!” We began to converse and answer his questions.

Another black student who was extremely angry began to tell us you are “full of sh#$” We listened to him say how Christians could not be trusted, he told us he was a servant of the Devil, Christians had done too much wrong in this world and genocide millions in the name of Christ. My heart began to break as I listened to him, I asked, “Holy Spirit give me wisdom to respond!” I responded to his anger by asking for forgiveness on behalf of myself and all Christians, he responded with, “I have no response for that one” he almost began to cry, his entire countenance changed, we prayed for him and he said I don’t know what it is about you all, but I’m the only one in my family who isn’t a Christian, but if there is one church I’ll go to it’s the one you go to…we gave him the info to Passion Church in Reiber Hall 6th floor. It was the power of Christ forgiveness that He could not resist, we kept talking and he was being transformed right before our eyes.

Next to him was the large Asian fraternity group. They were listening and responding to the preaching the whole time. There was one fraternity brother in particular with a white hat on. I saw him while I was preaching. I knew God’s hand was on him. I walked right up to him and it was like he was waiting for me to speak to him. He shakes my hand and says, “I heard your message, it spoke to me, I almost went to jail too, I’m actually a PK (Pastors Kid) and I’m the president of this fraternity. I feel like God maybe calling me back to serve Him after all these years.” We kept talking, God was moving upon his heart, he wanted to talk more, I asked him if we could get together for coffee and study the Bible, he wanted to eagerly…he is definitely a student of peace.

The stories go on and on. All I can say is to God be the glory! To God be the glory! This is just the beginning friends, soldiers, army of God.We praised God for what He did, we regrouped and ended with a prayer. But, the enemy was not happy. We immediately began to feel uneasiness in our spirits, Alyson got more sick, others were battling negative thoughts, we continued to pray and intercede throughout the rest of the day and night. Some of the giants at UCLA went down that day, but not all. Yes, God established His throne on the Bruin Walk steps on Wednesday, but the battle has just begun. The battle has just begun. We saw only a glimpse of heaven on earth, a glimpse of His light breaking into the darkness, we must press forward saints!

PRAY! DO NOT STOP PRAYING AND FASTING FOR REVIVAL!

Do you understand what we are up against? Do you think this Christian walk is a joke? This is not a religion! This is not a game! This is not a social institution! This is, yes a spiritual family, but also it is a spiritual war! Jesus deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Me. Follow Him to what? Follow Him to the Cross of suffering and complete death to SELF.

Philippians 3:10-12
“I want to know (intimately experience) Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.”

Three things will happen when we pursue God in spiritual violence. When we press in to God and abandon all of self.

1) We will know Him intimately
2) We will operate in the power of His anointing
3) We will inevitably fellowship in His sufferings

Yes, Wednesday at UCLA we encountered the intimate presence of Christ in worship. Yes, we operated and experienced the power of His anointing upon the preached Word resulting in repentance and salvation. Yes, we also experienced the spiritual warfare, demonic attack and the grace to fellowship in the sufferings of Christ Jesus or Lord. Jesus says, “In this world you will have many trials and tribulations, but fear not, I have overcome the world!” Do not relent, we must press in and contend for the perfect will of God to be established upon the earth, upon our campuses, do not relent, do not give up, continue to pray, prophesy, seek His face prophetically worship and apostolically declare to every university campus in this nation REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD HAS COME!

Apostolic Preaching & Prophetic Worship on Campuses!!!

I am writing this message because I sense strongly in my spirit God
wants to release another “GREAT AWAKENING” upon the university
campuses of America. We are coming upon the wake of another “Jesus
Freak” movement. In the late 1960’s there was a major move of God
among young hippies all over California. Radical hippie preachers like
“Lonnie Frisbee” preached on campuses, street corners, bars on
Hollywood blvd, & baptized thousands of hippies in the ocean beaches.
What happened in those days was like it came straight out of the book
of Acts… “Signs, wonders & miracles, speaking in tongues, thousands of
young people swept into the kingdom of God, they were living in 24/7
communes together, sharing all things together and enjoying fellowship
while radical street preaching was bringing in the masses to Christ.”
Do it again Lord! I know You will & now is the time!

In the last 6 months the Holy Spirit has been impressing heavily upon
me to see the book of Acts happen again on college campuses. There is
too much “timidity” among Christian’s every campus I visit. There is a
fear of what other’s think…and it is justified by an “I don’t want to
offend others mentality.” It is compromise. The national average of
Christian’s on each university is 4% and more than 90% of those 4%
come from Christian backgrounds (Ivy Jungle Network: source). In other
words, Christians are mainly reaching Christians on campus. If we
don’t see revival now, we will have a post-Christian generation
tomorrow. It’s time for radical Christianity…or should I say “normal
Christianity” to be released on this generation with power.

I’ve been studying the book of Acts. The more I read, the more I am
challenged. Church was never meant to be in a “temple” or a “building”
it was meant to be on the streets. It was meant to be in the
marketplace, 24/7 where the people were. Where would Jesus be
preaching if He were here today? Where would Peter and Paul be
preaching if they were here today? I highly doubt a Sunday morning
church service or the next large group fellowship meeting. I know
exactly where they would be preaching…. in the middle of the campus
where all those students organizations are promoting their beliefs.
It’s sad, but there is too much preaching in the four walls of the
church & there is not enough preaching to the lost. Preaching was
meant for the lost! Yet we have turned the powerful art of preaching
into “sermonizing.” Lord have mercy & turn us back to the power of God
unto salvation!

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed
Me to PREACH good news to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the
brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of
the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of
the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God!” Isaiah 61:1-2

Where am I getting at? There is a move of God that will sweep
thousands of young people into His kingdom beginning on university
campuses across California and then all over the United States of
America. What is this move? It will be a move of two things…

1. Prophetic Worship
2. Apostolic Preaching

Last week a student leader in our campus church network was inspired
during his early morning quite times to bring his guitar to school.
This student goes to San Jose State University. Not sure why, he went
with his guitar to the middle of campus where there was the most
student traffic. He sensed the Holy Spirit wanted him to break out his
guitar and worship at the top of His lungs. He did. At first, he was
scared out of his pants, but as he continued to worship the manifest
presence of God began to descend on the ground he was worshipping on.
He later told me that all he was asking God for that morning was one
thing, “Lord I want to see HEAVEN ON EARTH come down on this campus!”
Well, he got what he was praying for.

As the Holy Spirit prophetically lead him to sing new songs by
proclaiming Jesus over the campus, he sensed he was to pull out his
Bible and read it out loud. With authority, he began to read out loud
at the top of his lungs, the written Word of God. Students began to
look at him, stare at him, even laugh at him. He didn’t care because
he was in the zone with Jesus. As students gathered around to watch
this Jesus freak, he began to read the Scriptures and prayed for
students the Holy Spirit was pinpointing out to him. While praying for
students, he saw a fraternity table with a fraternity brother sitting
there. This fraternity brother was completely gripped by the
Scriptures being read. All of a sudden the frat brother left the table
and walked up to my friend.

He said, “I don’t know who you are, but while you were singing those
songs to God, I felt the presence of God touch my body. You see I’ve
been a backslidden Christian for over 3 years & this weekend our
fraternity house burnt down. Everything I’ve ever owned burned down in
that house this weekend, but there was only one thing left… my Bible!”

This fraternity brother broke down under the conviction of the Holy
Spirit and the spoken word of God. He encountered the presence of the
living God in the middle of the day on a university campus while
sitting outdoors at his fraternity table. Now, that’s what I’m talking
about!

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with
praise.” Psalm 100:4

We don’t need more persuasion evangelism in this postmodern
generation. What we need is more presence evangelism, encounters with
an Almighty God. How do we bring the presence? It is only through
worship and prayer. It’s prophetic worship that sings to Jesus from
the heart, not from a power point slide. It’s passionate, raw,
un-plugged worship that touches the heart of God and ends up touching
the heart of a generation.

I see thousands of new prophetic worship bands hitting the shores of
the college campuses during the day and into the night. Bands of young
radicals who pull out their guitars, banjos, drums, all kinds of
instruments and worshipping at the top of their lungs in the middle of
campuses. It’s a prophetic band of worshippers who aren’t just singing
the latest hit worship song, but they are worshipping in their own
way, singing new songs, creating new lyrics, going all out,
undignified like King David. It’s a sound that even the Christian
world has never heard. They are the new sounds that come from the
streets of heaven. Get ready because the sons of thunder are coming!
They worship in spirit and truth while students are passing by, while
others are gathering at tables, while others are watching…the presence
of God comes. The lost have never heard this kind of worship, with
such passion, with such beauty & attraction. It’s prophetic, for the
spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus. This prophetic presence
all of sudden invades and touches the hearts of young people & they
begin to come under the overwhelming love of God. This generation is
waiting to see true passion. But where is it? True passion is only
revealed when we passionately worship the passionate One…our suffering
King Jesus. When this generation sees true worship, they will come to
worship God!

Prophetic worship is what ushers in the presence of God. But it’s
Apostolic Preaching that ushers in the power of God.

“And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark
of the Lord. Then seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’ horns
before the ark of the Lord went on continually and blew with the
trumpets. And the armed men went before them. But the rear guard came
after the ark of the Lord while the priests continued blowing the
trumpets.” Joshua 6:12-13

Joshua followed the strategy of the Lord. He sent out the priests (the
prophetic worshippers) into battle first, while the armed guard
(apostolic preachers) stood prepared to attack. The presence of God
must be ushered in first, in order for His presence to anoint the army
for war. This is the same in relationship to prophetic worship and
apostolic preaching for the campuses.

First of all, what is apostolic preaching? Let the book of Acts explain…

“Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to
Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we
do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent and let everyone of you be
baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and
you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. “For the promise is to
you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the
Lord our God will call.” And with many other words he testified and
exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Those
who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three
thousand souls were added to them.” Acts 2:37-41

Apostolic preaching is the so powerful preaching of the Gospel that it
cuts the hearts of men resulting in deep repentance and mass
conversions. It happened in Peter’s day where we see three thousand
coming to Christ in a day. We see 5,000 saved in a day later in the
book of Acts and whole cities pushing their way into the kingdom
through Paul’s apostolic preaching. You say that happened in the days
of old, but certainly not in highly sophisticated campus cultures like
Yale or Stanford? Why not? It happened in the 1st and 2nd Great
Awakenings of America. Where Jonathan Edwards a young preacher who
attended Yale preached an unapologetic message around 1734 called
“Sinners in the hands of an angry God” that sent all of all of the
East Coast into repentance and ushered in a sweeping revival to a hell
bent America. In 1790’s Yale University had totally forgotten about
the great revival just years before. The student body had fallen into
drunkenness, blasphemy and the majority of students were attacking the
Christian faith because of a turn towards atheism & deism. During that
dark hour, a young man named “Timothy Dwight” the only Christian on
campus began to preach on the infallibility of God’s Word and His
moral standard. By the end of the year more than one half of the
entire Yale University campus had turned in repentance toward God. Do
it again Lord! Surely, He will & now is the hour!

I’m passionate about this kind of preaching coming on the scene again,
because I’ve experienced it. I use to travel from campus to campus
preaching to crowds of students sometimes three & other times
hundreds. There was never a time that the anointing of God to preach
did not show up. No, when there is the preaching of the Gospel, God is
obligated to show up, because He is obligated to His mission. “Go, and
make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, teaching them everything I have taught
you, and I am with you always unto the end of the age.” (Matthew
28:18)

I remember one time when I was at a junior college and a crowd of
nearly 500 students gathered the day after the school was saved from a
planned bomb attack. I got up in the middle of campus and began to
preach how God had spared their lives, how Jesus had saved them with a
calling through his suffering, death and resurrection. I challenged
each of them to repent & turn to God. No one threw a stone at me,
instead the entire crowd was dead silent while I preached and many
began to cry under the conviction and presence of the Holy Spirit.

There are more testimonies where we even saw a few hundred saved at
one time at San Jose State University after preaching the Gospel to a
completely unsaved crowd of students in the middle of campus.

Just today at the university, while my two friends were leading
prophetic worship outside on campus I began to join them in prayer. As
I paced back and forth interceding for the lost students on campus out
loud I could sense the anointing of the Holy Spirit increase. People
thought I was crazy, who cares, but as I prayed out loud I began to
preach. We were only there for an hour, we didn’t draw a crowd of
hundreds, but we did get to pray for at least 4 students who randomly
came up and asked for prayer. We did get to converse afterwards with a
bunch of fraternity and hip-hop looking brothers who wanted to know
more about Jesus. Whether it’s one or one thousand, my question is
what happened to the powerful preaching of the Gospel? Isn’t this what
Jesus did most of the time…preach? With signs, wonders and miracles
confirming the preaching of the Word.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of
God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also
for the Greek” Romans 1:16

“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And
how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how
shall they hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:14

Where are the apostolic preachers in this generation? Where are those
who will preach with authority and power in the Holy Spirit? Where are
the Peter’s and Paul’s who preached with a holy fear of God that
resulted in entire cities coming to Christ with signs and wonders
confirming? There was a Jonathan Edward for the 1st Great Awakening.
There was a Timothy Dwight at Yale University in the 2nd Great
Awakening. Where are those who will step up to the plate, pray like no
tomorrow and preach like there is only today in this last Great
Awakening?

As the Son is shining, during the middle of the school day, I see
university campuses with prophetic bands of young warriors worshipping
with all their heart and preaching with pure passion. These apostolic
& prophetic warriors will have big posters advertising… “FREE PRAYER,
FREE DREAM INTERPRETAION, FREE PROPHECY…CAUSE GOD LIKES YOU!” I SEE
OTHER WARRIOR BANDS WITH “THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST” PLAYING AS A
BACKDROP AS THEY PREACH…PASSING OUT TESTIMONIES AND GOSPEL TRACKS
EXPLAINING THE SUFFERING, DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF THE PASSIONATE SON
OF GOD! I SEE YOUNG RADICALS CARRYING A HEAVY WOODEN CROSS WITH THEM
AS THEY WORSHIP & PREACH THE GOSPEL WITH IT FROM CAMPUS TO CAMPUS…I
SEE A HOLY REVOLUTION.

There is going to be an outbreak, an uncontrollable movement of God…a
spontaneous revival hitting the campuses of America once again. There
will be hundreds of students here, & thousands of students there, and
small pockets of students everywhere having Church in the university
courtyard. Yes, it’s church without walls, it’s a holy movement of God
that can’t be touched or defined by some method of evangelism or some
slick small group program. No church building can contain it and no
conference can explain it. It’s God or nothing. There is a nameless
and faceless army God is raising up at this hour on campuses across
America. Do you hear the calling? Will you be willing to lay down your
reputation, your comfort zone, your Christian bubble, possibly your
very life to see revival on your college campus? Now is the time, now
is the hour. Get on your face and pray until it hurts. Worship until
He comes. Then get up and preach unapologetically & watch if God shows
up! I’m praying to see HEAVEN ON EARTH on every campus in America.
REVIVE THE CAMPUSES OF AMERICA LORD! REVIVE THIS GENERATION LORD!
REVIVE OUR HEARTS AGAIN AND USHER IN THE LAST AND GREATEST AWAKENING
THIS NATION HAS EVER SEEN…LET THE JESUS REVOLUTION BEGIN….

Praying for campus revival,

OH MY GOOOODNESS! Remember that girl I told you about? The one that doesn’t want to really do GIG with us anymore. WELLLLL, today I had lunch with her to talk to her and answer her questions. We were talking about the GIG lesson last week about the crippled man near the pool. Last Wednesday, when I led GIG with those 3 girls, we were talking about healing and God’s power near the end. The night before, a pastor prayed for me because I had back pains, and turns out I had uneven legs, and right on the spot, my leg grew out! DUDE GOD is SO AMAZING because it TOTALLY relates to the GIG lesson the next day. So, I was sharing this with them and the girl who wasn’t really into it was like WOW! She told me she had stomach pains, and on the spot I laid hands and prayed for her. TODAY, she told me after I prayed for her, her stomach pain gradually disappeared!!!!! WOWW !!!

Early last week, due to a miscommunication with our web host, our site was completely removed from their servers and all our data was lost. We are currently in the process of trying to recover data that had been stored on that server (namely: email, testimonies and news posts).

We have decided to switch hosts to a new company. Any communication that was sent to Jaeson, Erica, or Michele via email in the week we were offline was likely lost. Most of the site has been recovered, but you will likely see some missing sections of the site as we attempt to fully bring everything back.

Thank you for your patience!
